Using Your Phone

In just 2 text messages you can place a bet from your phone bill: Send your event or team name to 89000 and you will receive our free bet offer text. Simply select a bet by replying with one of A, B or C (sometimes up to 'K'), no other words or characters, just the one letter. Pre-pay phones need at least £3.00 plus enough credit to cover the costs of sending us texts at your standard network rate. We recommend you lock your phone with a secret pin number for security.

The Stake Money

Before you register at betNOW the stake for each £3.00 (default amount) bet comes from your phone bill or pre-pay account and is charged via a Premium SMS. Once you register with betNOW, open a betNOW account and deposit funds from your Credit or Debit Card, you can vary the amount you bet (between £3.00 and £99.99).

Spending limits apply to how much you can spend from your phone bill or payment cards in a certain period of time. There is no limit on betting from your winnings:

From your phone bill or pre-pay account:

• £30.00 per day

From your betNOW account (Credit, Debit Card):

• £500.00 per day
• £1,000.00 per month

The Bet and the Event

betNOW offer bets on most popular events (e.g. football matches) and betting markets (e.g. winner, exact score, First Scorer).  You can bet on some events during the game – this is called 'In-Play'. As the odds will be varying, dependent upon what's happening in the game, so the total return betNOW can offer will also vary. If the odds change significantly between the time when we sent you a text and your reply, then we may be unable to accept that bet. Instead we will ask you to 'refresh' the odds. Sometimes betting markets are suspended, for example in soccer for a minute or two straight after a goal has been scored. When this happens betNOW willl be unable to accept a bet immediately and will return a message accordingly. When you bet on the soccer correct score, then this is the score at the end of 90 minutes plus stoppage time. If a goal is scored during 'Extra Time' then this will not go towards the outcome of the bet. Please refer to betting rules for full details.

In some cases the bet you request may be such short odds that it is not economic for us to offer you an option. In these cases we 'close' that option and offer you the next most interesting market (e.g. Man Utd to win with the exact score of 1-0 rather than Man Utd to win).

Signing Up And Collecting Your Winning

Anytime you want to collect your winnings you can signup online at betnow.co.uk and transfer your winnings back to your Debit or Credit Card or collect them in cash at any UK Post Office. Even if you haven't yet won anything there are very good reasons why you should register:

Faster and more reliable service — Once registered for a betNOW account, we don't rely on the mobile networks for payment processing. So things are faster and more reliable.

Your winnings are kept safely in your betNOW account. You can bet from your winnings anytime. You can collect your winnings by registering your postal address and age verifying at betnow.co.uk or Contact Us. You can then collect your winnings in cash at any UK Post Office for a £1 fee or open a betNOW account and collect your winnings for free via your payment cards.

If you register with betNOW on-line you can deposit and collect cash from your Debit or Credit cards.

betNOW aims to be the UK's favourite mobile sports betting service. We wish to provide the easiest, fastest and most entertaining betting service. To meet these targets our pricing structure is clear and straightforward and betNOW covers the costs of the text messages which we send out to our customers.

Advanced Features

If you have sufficient funds in your betNOW account you can place variable or multiple bets from as single bet-offer.

• To place a variable bet (a bet greater than the default £3), simply add the amount after your bet option selection. For example, replying A 5.52 will place a £5.52 bet on option A from the latest bet-offer you've received. The returns multiply up accordingly.
• To place multiple £3 bets from the same bet offer, simply reply with all the options you require, for example replying A B C will place £3 on option A and £3 on option B and £3 on option C from the latest bet-offer you've received.

Note that if you do not have sufficient funds to cover such bets, the service reverts to placing all the funds available on the first selection in your reply text.  For example, if you have £4 in your betNOW account, and reply A 5 to a bet offer, the service will place £4 on option A.

You will get a bet confirmation for each bet placed whether placed from a single reply text or multiple.  ALWAYS ensure you've got the bet-confirmation text for each bet, as this is your betting-slip, without which your bet has not been placed. Betting from your phone bill

betNOW allows you to stake money from your phone bill or pre-pay phone account. This stake is a fixed £3 with the exception of Vodafone where you can bet between £3 and £15. Generally, if you have less than £3 in your betNOW account the service defaults to placing a £3 phone bill bet on the first selection in your reply text.

Vodafone customers can place bets of up to £15 from their phone bill or pre-pay phone account by placing a Variable Bet (as described above). If the stake is greater than their betNOW account balance, it will be taken (entirely) from their phone bill/account.

Customers of the other networks can still place more than £3 on a single runner if they have less than £3 in their betNOW account by simply replying to the bet-offer multiple times with their selection(s). For example, if you have less than £3 in your betNOW account, to bet £6 on a runner from your phone bill/account, simply reply A to the bet-offer, wait for a bet confirmation, then reply A again. This will have placed £6 on option A.

Age and ID Verification

It is illegal for minors to places bets therefore customers must prove that they are 18 years of age or over by performing our age-verification process before they can collect winnings or within 72 hours of placing a chargeable bet. You can age verify by registering your postal address on-line, by calling Customer Services or texting CALL ME to 89000 (We call you back).

Additional ways to register:

1. At point of sale. If the sales agent was able to record your name and address you will already have been age verified.
2. At betnow.co.uk. You can register your name and address and date of birth. The system uses the electoral role and other public sources of information to confirm your age.
3. We contact you: betNOW will contact you by phone if you have not verified your age within 72 hours of placing your first chargeable bet.

Important Note: You cannot collect winnings from the Post Office without confirming your age. If betNOW has been unable to confirm your age within 72hrs of a chargeable bet having been placed, then use of the customer's betNOW account will be suspended. Once suspended, no bets funded by credits or another source may be placed until betNOW has been able to confirm the customer is 18 years of age or over.

You must be able to evidence your age with an official document (e.g. driving licence, passport or birth certificate) and be able to evidence your current postal address.The Post Office use one of the following forms of ID to check your identity if you collect:

• credit card or bank statement
• tv licence
• UK /EU driving licence
• passport
• police warrant card
• armed forces id card
• DWP(benefits) letter.
